Sitemap URL extractor
Enter a sitemap URL or just a domain. We find the sitemap, open sitemap indexes and compressed files, and list every URL with its last modified date.
Free · No sign-up
What you will get
- Every URL in the sitemap, including child sitemaps and .gz files
- The lastmod date for each URL and the most recent update
- A CSV file you can open in Excel or Google Sheets
How it works
If you enter a domain, we first look for Sitemap lines in robots.txt, then try /sitemap.xml and /sitemap_index.xml. When we find a sitemap index, we open each child sitemap in turn, and we read .gz compressed files too.
We list up to 5,000 URLs with the lastmod date each sitemap gives. You can filter the list on the page, or download it as a CSV file for Excel or Google Sheets.
Why it matters
Your sitemap tells search engines which pages you want indexed. If it lists redirected, deleted or noindex pages, crawlers waste time on them; if important pages are missing, they may be found late.
Seeing every URL in one list makes these problems easy to spot. The lastmod dates also show whether your content is really being updated, or whether every page claims to change every day.
